After Howard S. Young, Sr. left the bench, he and Howard S. Young, Jr. formed Young & Young. The firm helped found the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and has been involved in the evolution of Indiana Trial law in both the legislature and the courtroom protecting the rights of the injured.
Young & Young has handled complex litigation on behalf of seriously injured individuals for decades. Young & Young was on the forefront of tobacco litigation forming a team of law firms to pursue one of the first individual secondhand smoke cases to go to trial in the country against Philip Morris, RJ Reynolds, Brown & Williamson, and Loews Corporation.
Young & Young was one of the law firms hired, by the Attorney General of the State of Indiana, to represent the State in its lawsuit against the major manufacturers of tobacco for Medicaid reimbursement.
Young & Young is currently involved in several class action lawsuits on behalf of injured parties.
